Overview and Intro

The 2 days course is aimed at technology entrepreneurs and covers the fundamentals of starting and building a new business venture. Topics include funding your business, marketing, recruiting, intellectual property and much more.
At the end of the course, the participants would be able to plan for and work towards a purposeful and rewarding business life by overcoming the fears and uncertainties.

The specific objectives of the Course, among other things are that the participants will be able to:
• Identify possible areas of investment in Small and Medium Businesses;
• Prepare feasibility studies report and manage a micro-business profitably
• Assess and use current concepts/systems and technologies to support an organization’s business initiatives.
• Conduct and present research to support business decision making.
• Plan, implement and evaluate projects by applying project management principles.
• Perform work in compliance with relevant statutes, regulations and business practices.
• Apply human resource practices to support management objectives.
• Use accounting and financial principles to support the operations of an organization.
